In summary, and based upon customer feedback and forum discussions, shoppers considering theĀ  Samsung Impression a877 Phone, Blue (AT&T) should be aware that the a877 does lack voice dialing, contacts, and a calendar sync. It is a good messaging device, but doesn’t have its own e-mail app which would have made it much more attractive for serious users. It rates poorly if net surfing is important, and call quality is poor due to some extreme volume fluctuation. However, it’s worth noting that the a877 is the nation’s first commercially available AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) screen, which creates the mostĀ  bright and clear display available today. Expansive feel to the full-qwerty keyboard and a good multimedia experience, makes the a877 a significant choice against weaker competing cousins in this price range.
